All contracts are made with SK Classic Ltd. (“SKC”). SK Classic Ltd trades as Sussex Aircooled

• Deposits for high value parts are charged per specific product based on their purchase value unless otherwise agreed and are non-refundable.
• All prices are subject to VAT unless otherwise stated.
• Images on this website are for general illustration and may not represent specific parts.
• Vehicles sold as “projects” are recommended to be trailered away.
• Vehicles are removed entirely at the customer’s risk once paid for.

We aim to supply goods of the highest quality. If faulty goods are supplied, they will be refunded or replaced if the fault existed prior to leaving our premises.

• Goods damaged in transit or shortages must be reported immediately.
• Customers must inspect goods before accepting delivery and sign as “damaged goods” where applicable.
• Original packaging must be retained for claims.

Refunds are issued only after goods are returned in their original condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and returns are at the customer’s expense.

• Returns must be made within 14 days.
• A 20% handling charge applies to correctly supplied goods.

Customers must ensure parts are correct for their vehicle before fitting.

Prices marked with “*” indicate SKC is acting as an agent; VAT is not applicable to the vehicle sale price.

Workshop Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• Customer: Owner or person responsible for payment.
• SKC: SK Classic Ltd / Sussex Aircooled.
• Estimate for Work: Outline of expected work, duration, and cost.
• Vehicle: The vehicle detailed in the agreement.
• Payment Agreement: Agreed payment schedule.
• Parts Inventory: Indicative list of parts required.
• In Writing: Any recorded communication (email, letters, etc.).

2. Contracts

All contracts are made with SKC and must be agreed before work begins.

3. Pricing

• Prices are not fixed due to the nature of classic vehicles.
• Parts prices may change without notice.
• SKC is not liable for increases in agreed parts.
• Alternative parts may be used if originals are unavailable.
• All prices are subject to VAT unless stated.
• Significant changes will be agreed before continuing.
• Estimates are guides only and not guaranteed.

4. Payment Agreements

• Deposits are non-refundable.
• No refunds for cancelled projects.
• Missed payments incur £200/day charge.
• Vehicles may be moved outside after 2 weeks of non-payment.
• SKC may recover debts via sale or legal action.

5. Payment Methods

Accepted: Bank transfer, debit/credit card.

We no longer accept cash

6. Major Expenses

• Labour over £700 + VAT
• Parts over £700 + VAT
• Must be agreed before work proceeds

7. Insurance

Customers must maintain their own insurance. Vehicles are left at owner’s risk.

8. Glass

SKC is not responsible for breakages of used or previously removed glass.

9. Contract Acceptance

• Minimum 4 weeks’ notice required
• £1000 non-refundable deposit to secure booking (discretionary)
• Cancellation terms apply
• Storage fees apply for unpaid vehicles (£15/day)

10. Project Duration

Timelines are estimates only and may change.

12. Mechanical Warranty

12 months or 12,000 miles on full overhauls only.

13. Sign Over

Vehicles will only be released once all balances are paid.

14. Additions

Additional work due to hidden issues will be quoted and agreed.

15. Legal Action

SKC reserves the right to pursue legal action if required.

16. Out of Hours

Call out and off site working rates are generally charged at £10 +vat plus the current hourly work rate

17. Fuel

Vehicles must be supplied with sufficient fuel. Refuelling is charged at £2.50/litre.
